Historic :

The company was established in 1957 under the name of ETS BOURGEOIS and Cie.
It became a limited company in 1971 : ETS BOURGEOIS SA.

Products :

Originally in the agricultural field, the production started with the square bowl elevator followed by mini excavators detached or fixed to a tractor.

These machines becoming heavier, it has been necessary to design floor cranes for moving the parts. By selling these cranes we progressed in the car and industry fields.

In the year 1978, the first tail lift for vans was manufactured. A platform supported by 2 arms which slide along 2 rails inclined inside the vehicle. On its way up the platform enters into the vehicle.

A good few improvements have been done to obtain the actual lift. Specially lifting capacity, originally 250 kg has been upgrated to 350 kg then up to 500 kg.

Then, a telescopic single pillar lift MONOPOUTRE TELESCOPIC constituted by a pillar fixed into the vehicle with, articulated on its top an arm in which is sliding an extension supporting the platform fitted behind the left-hand back door, it leaves access when the right-hand door is opened.

On request of wheelchair users, we designed a specific lift to allow them going in and out the vehicle.

This lift, fully automatic, can be fitted on the back or on the side door of the vehicle. These lifts have been developed for 300 and 500 kg capacity ( mini buses, buses, coaches , trains and ambulances).

All these lifts can be fitted with a rotating option for rotating the lift along the side panel to allow normal access to the vehicle.

Initiated by a French Post office request, we developed an outside column lift specifically for small vehicle with a box on a chassis.

Continuing its development for the handicapped, we developed :

. a two arms lift
. an underfloor lift for buses and minivans
